Quran 72
This is Quran chapter 72
In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Say, 'It has been revealed to me that a company of the jinn listened, and they said, "Indeed, We have heard a marvellous Quran, it guides to the right direction; so we believe in it, and we join no one with our Lord.
And indeed, He - exalted is our Lord's majesty! - has not taken a consort or a son.
And indeed, a fool among us spoke against God wide of the mark!
And indeed, we thought that men and jinn would never speak a lie against God.
And indeed, there are persons amongst mankind who seek for refuge with persons amongst the jinn; so they increase them in perverseness.
And indeed they thought, as you thought, that God would not raise up anyone.
And we touched the heaven and found it filled with mighty guards and shooting-stars;
And indeed, we used to sit in certain seats thereof to listen; but whoever listens now finds a shooting-star lying in wait for him.
And indeed, we know not whether evil is meant for those who are in the earth, or if their Lord intends for them a right course.
And among us are the righteous and among us are other than that. We are in separate bands.
And we thought that we could not frustrate God in the earth, and could not frustrate Him by flight.
And indeed, when we heard the guidance we believed in it, and whoever believes in his Lord shall fear neither diminution nor loss.
And indeed, there are among us some who have surrendered and there are among us some who are unjust. And whoever has surrendered, then those have sought the right course. And as for the unjust, they are fuel for Hell."'
And if they will go straight on the way, surely we will give them to drink water in abundance to try them therein; and whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord, He will drive him to severe punishment.
And that the mosques are God's, so do not call on anyone with God.
And that when God's servant stood calling on Him, they crowded on him, almost stifling.
Say, 'I only call upon my Lord, and I do not join anyone with Him.'
Say, 'Indeed, I cannot control for you either harm, or right direction.'
Say, 'Indeed, none can protect me from God, nor can I find any refuge beside Him, - except delivering from God and His messages.' And whoever rebels against God and His messenger, then indeed, for him is the fire of Hell; therein they shall dwell forever.
Until when they see what they are threatened with, then they shall know who is most weak in helpers and fewest in numbers!
Say, 'I do not know if what you are threatened with is near, or if my Lord will set for it a term.'
Knower of the unseen, and He does not disclose His unseen to anyone, except such messenger as He is well pleased with: and indeed, He sends marching before him and behind him a guard! That He may know that indeed they have delivered the messages of their Lord, and He encompasses what is with them and He takes account of everything by number.
