Quran 52
This is Quran chapter 52
In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the mount!
By a book written in parchment unrolled!
By the frequented house!
By the elevated roof!
By the swelling sea!
Indeed, the punishment of your Lord will surely come to pass; - there is none to avert it!
The day the heavens shall reel about,
And the mountains shall move about, -
Then woe that day to the deniers,
Who plunge into discussion for a sport!
The day they shall be thrust into the fire of Hell, - 'This is the fire, which you used to call a lie! Then is this magic, or do you not see? Burn in it! And be patient or do not be patient, it is the same to you. You are only being recompensed for what you used to do.'
Indeed, the pious shall be in gardens and pleasure, enjoying what their Lord has given them; and their Lord saved them from the punishment of Hell. Eat and drink with good digestion, for what you used to do! Reclining on couches in rows; and We will wed them to wide-eyed houris.
And those who believe and whose seed follows them in the faith, We will unite their seed with them; and We will not cheat them of their work at all; every man is pledged for what he earns.
And We will extend to them fruit and meat such as they desire. They shall pass to and fro therein a cup in which is neither folly nor sin. And round them shall go boys of theirs, as though they were hidden pearls.
And some of them draw near unto others, questioning. They shall say, 'Indeed, We were before among our people, fearful, but God has been gracious to us and saved us from the punishment of the hot blast. Indeed, we used to call on Him before; indeed, He is the Benign, the Compassionate'
Therefore remind, for you are, by the favour of your Lord, neither a soothsayer nor a madman!
Or do they say, 'A poet; we wait for him the sad accidents of fate'?
Say, 'Wait, for indeed I am, with you among those who wait!'
Or do their minds command them this? Or are they an outrageous people?
Or do they say, 'He has invented it'? - nay, they do not believe! Then let them bring a discourse like it, if they are truthful.
Or were they created of nothing, or are they the creators?
Or did they create the heavens and the earth? - nay, they are not sure!
Or have they the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the governors supreme?
Or have they a ladder whereon they listen? - then let their listener bring a clear authority.
Or has He daughters, while you have sons?
Or do you ask of them a payment, so they are weighed down with debt?
Or have they the unseen, so they write it down?
Or do they desire a plot? - but those who disbelieve it is who are plotted against!
Or have they a god beside God? Celebrated be God's praises above what they associate!
And if they should see a fragment of the sky falling down, they would say, 'Clouds heaped up.' So leave them until they meet their day in which they shall swoon; the day their plotting shall not avail them at all, nor will they be helped. And indeed, there is a punishment beside that for those who do wrong; but most of them do not know!
But wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, for indeed you are in Our eyes. And celebrate the praises of your Lord when you rise, and in the night glorify Him, and at the fading of the stars!
