Quran 35

This is Quran chapter 35

In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Praise belongs to God, the Originator of the heavens and the earth; who makes the angels messengers endued with wings, two or three or four; He increases in creation what He pleases; indeed, God is powerful over everything.

What God opens to mankind of mercy, then none can withhold it; and what He withholds, then none can send if forth after Him; And He is the Mighty, the Wise.

O mankind! Remember the favours of God upon you; is there any creator beside God, who provides for you from the heavens and the earth? There is no god but He; how then are you turned away?

And if they call you liar, then certainly, messengers were called liars before you, and to God affairs return.

O mankind! Indeed, God's promise is true; so let not the life of the world beguile you, and let not the beguiler beguile you about God.

Indeed, the devil is to you an enemy, so take him as an enemy; he only calls his crew to be among the fellows of the blaze.

Those who disbelieve, for them is severe punishment. And those who believe and do good works, for them is forgiveness and a great reward.

Then is he whose evil deed is made fairseeming to him, so that he looks upon it as good, -? For indeed, God leads astray whom He pleases and guides whom He pleases; so let not your soul be wasted in sighing for them; indeed, God knows of what they do!

And God it is who sends the winds, and they stir up a cloud, and We drive it to a dead land and We give life therewith the earth after its death. Thus is the resurrection.

Whoever desires honour - honour altogether belongs to God; to Him good words ascend, and the righteous deed - He uplifts it; and those who plot evil deeds, for them is severe punishment, and the plotting of those - it is in vain.

And God created you from dust, then from a sperm drop; then He made you pairs; and no female bears nor brings forth, except with His knowledge; nor does he who is aged reach old age, nor is anything diminished from his life, but it is in a Book; indeed, that is easy unto God.

And the two seas are not equal: this is fresh and sweet and pleasant to drink, and this is salt and bitter; but from each you eat fresh meat, and bring forth ornaments which you wear; and you may see the ships cleave through it, that you may seek of His grace, and perhaps you may give thanks.

He makes the night to enter into the day and makes the day to enter into the night; and He subjects the sun and the moon, each runs on to an appointed term. That is God, your Lord! His is the kingdom; but those you call on beside Him do not possess the husk of a date seed. If you call upon them they hear not your call, and if they hear they cannot answer you; and on the resurrection day they will deny your association; and none can inform you like one who is aware.

O mankind! You are the poor in relation to God. And God He is the Rich, the Praiseworthy. If He please, He will take you off, and bring a new creation; and that is no hard matter unto God.

And no burdened soul shall bear the burden of another; and if a heavily laden one calls to its load, nothing of it shall be carried, even though he be of kin! - you can only warn those who fear their Lord in the unseen and who are steadfast in prayer; and whoever purifies himself, purifies himself only for his soul; and to God is the journey.

And not equal are the blind and the seeing, nor darkness and the light, nor the shade and the heat, and not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, God causes whom He pleases to hear, and you cannot make those who are in the graves hear; you are nothing but a warner!

Indeed, We have sent you with the truth, a herald of glad tidings and a warner; and there is no nation but a warner has passed away in it.

And if they deny you, then certainly, those before them denied. Their messengers came to them with manifest signs, and with the scriptures, and with the illuminating Book. Then I seized those who disbelieved, and how was my rejection!

Do you not see that God sends down from the heaven water, and We bring forth therewith fruits of various colours? And among the mountains are streaks, white and red, of various colours, and intensely black, and of men and beasts and cattle various colours? Thus! Only those of His servants who have knowledge fear God; indeed, God is mighty, forgiving.

Indeed, those who recite the Book of God, and are steadfast in prayer, and spend of what We have provided them, in secret and in public, hope for a commerce that shall not come to nothing; that He may pay them in full their wages, and give them increase of His grace; indeed, He is forgiving, grateful.

And that which We have inspired you with of the Book it is the truth, verifying what was before it; indeed, God of His servants surely is aware, seeing. Then We gave the Book for an inheritance to those whom We chose of Our servants, and of them is he who wrongs himself, and of them is he who takes a middle course, and of them is he who is foremost in good works by permission of God; that it is the great grace.

Gardens of Eden, shall they enter, adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls; and their garments therein shall be silk; and they shall say, 'Praise belongs to God, who has removed from us grief; indeed, our Lord is surely forgiving, grateful! Who has made us alight in an enduring abode of His grace, therein no toil shall touch us, nor shall fatigue therein touch us.'

And those who disbelieve, for them is the fire of Hell; it shall not be decreed for them to die, nor shall its punishment be lightened for them; thus do We reward every disbeliever.

And they shall cry out therein, 'Our Lord! Bring us out, we will do right, not what we used to do!' - 'Did We not let you grow old enough for whoever would be mindful therein to be mindful? And there came to you the warner! So taste, for the wrongdoers there is no helper!'

Indeed, God knows the unseen of the heavens and the earth; indeed, He knows the nature of the breasts.

He it is who made you vicegerents in the earth, and whoever disbelieves, then upon him is his disbelief; but their disbelief shall only increase the disbelievers in hatred with their Lord; and their disbelief shall only increase the disbelievers in loss.

Say, 'Have you considered your associates whom you call on beside God?' Show me what they created of the earth; or have they a share in the heavens, or have We given them a book so they are on a manifest sign therefrom? Nay, the unjust promise each other nothing but guile.

Indeed, God holds the heavens and the earth lest they should decline; and if they should decline there is none to hold them after Him; indeed, He is clement, forgiving.

And they swore by God their most strenuous oaths, indeed, if there come to them a warner, surely they would be more guided than anyone of the nations; but when a warner came to them, it did not increase them except in aversion, being proud in the land, and plotting evil; but the plotting of evil only entangles those who practise it; so do they expect but the course of the former peoples? But you shall not find any alteration in the course of God; and you shall not find any change in the course of God.

Have they not travelled in the land and seen how was the end of those before them? And they were stronger than them in might; but God - there is nothing in the heavens or the earth that can frustrate Him. Indeed! He is knowing, powerful.

And if God should take mankind to task for what they have earned, He would not leave on its back any creature; but He respites them until an appointed term. And when their term comes, then indeed, God sees His servants.
