Quran 45

This is Quran chapter 45

In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Ha.Mim. A revelation of the Book from God, the Mighty, the Wise.

Indeed, in the heavens and the earth surely are signs for the believers; and in your creation and what He spread abroad of the beasts, are signs to a people who are sure; and in the alternation of the night and the day, and what God sends down from the sky of provision and gives life thereby to the earth after its death, and in the veering of the winds are signs for a people who have sense.

Those are the signs of God We recite them to you in truth; and in what story after God and His signs will they believe?

Woe to every sinful liar who hears God's signs recited to him, then persists in pride as though he has not heard them - so give him the glad tidings of grievous punishment - and when he knows anything of Our signs, he takes it for a jest! Those, - for them is shameful punishment, behind them is Hell, and what they have earned shall not avail them anything, nor what they have taken beside God for patrons; and for them is great punishment.

This is a guidance, and those who disbelieve in the signs of their Lord, for them is punishment of a grievous plague.

God it is who subjects to you the sea that the ships may sail therein by His command, and that you may crave of His grace, and that perhaps you may give thanks.

And He has subjected to you what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, all together, from Him; indeed, in that surely are signs for a people who reflect.

Say to those who believe that they forgive those who hope not for God's days, that He may reward a people for what they have earned.

Whoever acts aright, then it is for his soul, and whoever does evil, then it is against it; then to your Lord you shall be returned.

And certainly, We gave the children of Israel the Book and the judgment and the prophethood, and We provided them of good things, and preferred them above the worlds.

And We gave them manifest proofs of the affair, and they did not dispute except after knowledge had come to them, through envy between themselves. Indeed, your Lord will decide between them on the resurrection day concerning that wherein they disputed.

Then We set you over a law concerning the affair: follow it, and do not follow the desires of those who do not know.

Indeed, they shall not avail you against God at all; and indeed, the wrongdoers, some of them are patrons of others; but God is the patron of those who fear.

This is an insight for mankind and a guidance and a mercy to a people who are sure.

Or do those who commit evil deeds think that We will make them like those who believe and work righteous deeds, equal in their life and their death? - Bad is what they judge!

And God created the heavens and the earth in truth; and that every soul may be recompensed for what it has earned, and they shall not be wronged.

Have you considered him who takes his desire for his god, and God leads him astray knowingly, and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart, and has placed upon his sight a covering? Who then shall guide him after God? Will you not then mind?

And they say, 'It is only our life of the world, We die and we live, and nothing destroys us but time!' But they have no knowledge of that; They are only assuming.

And when Our clear signs are recited to them their only argument is that they say, 'Bring Our fathers, if you are truthful.'

Say, 'God gives you life, then makes you die, then He will gather you to the resurrection day, there is no doubt therein; but most of mankind do not know.'

And God's is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and the day the Hour shall arise, on that day those who follow falsehood shall lose.

And you shall see each nation kneeling, each nation summoned to its book, 'Today you are rewarded for what you have done.'

This Our Book speaks to you with truth; indeed, We have written down what you have done.

Then as for those who believe and do righteous deeds their Lord will make them enter into His mercy: that is the obvious bliss.

And as for those who disbelieve, - were not My signs recited to you and you were proud and you were a sinful people?

And when it was said, 'Indeed, the promise of God is true, and the Hour there is no doubt therein;' You said, 'We do not know what the Hour is, we only suspect, and we are not sure.'

And the evils of what they did will appear to them, and they will be encompassed by what they used to mock at. And it shall be said, 'Today We will forget you as you forgot the meeting of this day of yours, and your habitation is the Fire, and you shall have no helpers. That is because you took the signs of God for a jest and the life of the world deceived you;' So today they shall not be brought forth from it, nor will they be taken back into favour.

God's then is the praise, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord of the worlds! His is the grandeur in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise!
